7. Finish What You Started


creepy bird for you guys! :D i used a photo of a blue-footed booby (even though you can't see his blue feet..) from my book on ocean wildlife :)

painted with acrylic in my moleskine sketchbook

    Really like what you did with the acrylic,especially inside the speech bubble, which has this interesting flowing movement going on. The contrast with the very rigid font goes quite well together. Wonder what he did that makes him say "never" XD

    Maybe you can paint its blue foot in the top corner of a random page XD It'll be cute!

    I like the lighting and shadow contrast of this piece.

  6. hahaha nice; you know, we were actually talking about this in art class.

    ppl tend to ask what does this mean what does that mean, and art students are kind of pushed into telling ppl about the meanings. but we don't have to answer those questions, and i'm glad that you are not answering either XD

    although sometimes it's nice to know ;)
