7. Finish What You Started

Not really following the "finish what you started" content from this blog, but its been a work in progress for a while. The original version of this is a lot more smooth and the typical CG work, but I wanted to see what it looked like with a watercolor layer on top. So this is it.

I still can't really do hair, so I know that looks funky. But overall, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.

I kinda feel like this is cheating because I made the drawing for my art class >_< I have some other drawings I have that I also want to post but it's locked in the art room :P I can post them up some other time... haha XD

I thought about the non-drawing I submitted for the last theme and decided that this would go well with the theme, though I did not have the sci-fi in my mind when I started the drawing. (I wanted to represent this specific state of my mind XD) Think you can guess it?

So it seems like we've been slacking off a bit, and I apologize for not posting this up earlier.

This time, I'd like everyone including me to finish up the concept arts & sketches we started for other themes. It's like catching up. If you were unhappy with any of the drawings you've posted so far, you can go back and fix them or do a completely new drawing.

Due date: Jan 30th, 2010 post by 8pm!

This is the time to redeem ourselves!

I attempted to paint something the old fashion way......and ever since I upgraded my computer to windows 7, my printer-scanner stopped connecting to it...So sorry for the wait! :(
