What better fairy tales to incorporate a cat than Puss in Boots! I wanted to get this kind of old, fairy tale illustration look, but the digital coloring didn't come out the way I wanted. This is what I have so far, but I intend to do something to make it better. Comments would help :)

ReplyDeleteI think you totally achieved an old-style illustration look; at least with the style of your lines. They have a lot of movement and life in them. And the way you drew the prince is great; he totally reminds me of those blonde curly-haired, rosy-cheeked, blue-eyed prince archetypes that you see in fairytale books all the time. :)

I almost did Puss in Boots too! I like the old style you did. Looks like something out of an actual fairytale book. I also like how you colored some parts and not others. It looks great!
