I had a bunch of ideas for this one regarding popular fairytales (like aladdin!) but none of them really inspired me, so I decided to do my own concept/character design. Mostly I just wanted to go with something princess-like ('cause that's what I think of first when hearing "fairytale," hehe), so I ended up with this ice princess person thing (if you can imagine the picture in white, light blue, and silver).. and her cat advisor.. or something. haha. I like how it turned out but I definitely think I could clean it up and improve upon it a bit. :)
Oooh lovely. I've always like the way you shade around the eyes and nose of a figure.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of ice princess and the feline advisor too. OMG won't it be cool if you could make a little fairy tale with them? The princess looks like she might have a bitter sweet past to share!
I feel like having some background would enhance the context. And as I am saying this, I realize my drawing doesn't have any background =_=; I should follow my own advice.
I can't wait to see it colored :)
reminds me of The Golden Compass. Like how people have animal daemons.

And I agree with jin about the past. Perhaps its her expression that gives that kind of feeling.
