For this theme I wanted to do something similar to the scene in spirited away where the train is running through the flooded countryside. I looooooove the imagery in that scene, and I tried twice to replicate it, but I wasn't very successful... :( The funny thing is, I think my second attempt was worse than the first.
Ooooooh! Lovely :) I do like the first attempt more than the second one like you do; I think in general, by the time you do a second attempt, you lose your motivation & energy. That's how I am anyway.
ReplyDeleteI love how the train tracks disappear in the distance, and the reflection works quite nicely. I am a fan of the clouds in the first one. They're so clean and stylized and they have certain aesthetics that speaks to me XD
I think the first attempt was better too.
ReplyDeleteThe colors seem to stand out more to me. It makes the water a little more obvious than the second attempt.
I like the reflections in the water from the sky. Thats always a thumbs up from me since I could never pull of the 'reflection' stuff.
I agree with jin. I love how the tracks disappear.
Again, i like the choice in colors.
